Popular American singer, song writer and actress, Miley Cyrus has undergone surgery on her vocal cords and will have to remain silent for weeks.

The 26-year-old was hospitalised last month with tonsillitis, not knowing that she has another hidden sickness that needed attention which will make her return to the hospital.

People magazine reported that the Wrecking Ball singer has ‘now left the hospital’ after a successful surgery.
