Air Peace Airline says it has signed a contract with Embraer for three additional E195-E2 aircraft, worth $212.6 million.

The company said in a statement on Sunday in Lagos that the contract confirmed the purchase rights from the original contract signed in April.

It said the new E195-E2s would be included in Embraer’s 2019 fourth-quarter backlog and the $212.6 million was based on Embraer’s current list prices.

E195 is poised to pose a solid challenge to the Boeing 737 regional and Airbus A320 neo even though today Boeing is executing it's 80 percent acquisition of Embrear the makers of the E195 ..

Isn't this maintainance and logistical headache maintaining both Boeing and Embrear planes.

They have mostly B737-500,300& 600 series, B777, ATR and Embrear ERJ145 plus multiple orders from Boeing 777, 787 Max and Embrear lined up.
