WHAT IS Wi-Fi EXTENDER / REPEATER?

A small device that allows a wireless network to be expanded using multiple access points without the need for a wired connection to link them. It offers a combined wired/wireless network connection designed specifically for small business, office and home networking requirements.

WHAT PROBLEM DOES IT SOLVE?

Individual, businesses or establishment may be running on a wired/wireless network that needs Internet connection (Router) for their daily activities, and the Internet connection is expected to spread to all users within its range.

Now the problem is this, there are areas in the premises where WiFi signal disappears altogether. Some cases, you may have strayed far from the coverage area but still in the premises, or it may even be the walls or partitioning that is preventing WiFi signal from getting through. Situations like these can be frustrating. These areas in your premises is known as Dead zone or Dead spot. If you experience issues like these, the WiFi Extender / Repeater will either help strengthen the poor signal or extend network coverage to where there is none.

The WiFi Extender / Repeater require being plugged into wall socket in a strategic location with the aim of making WiFi available to all users sharing the same network reaching far corners of your home or office, different floors, or even extend coverage to the whole compound or the next compound. HOW DOES IT WORK?

This technology allows the Routers to concentrate the WiFi signal towards your WiFi enabled devices. WiFi Extender / Repeater or Booster has various connection options which enable you to carry out a Wired or Wireless connections. For Example, with just once Router you can share the WiFi network connection across all parts of a three storey building so that everyone can connect and browse the Internet no matter the location they are in the building.

For Wired connection: Connect one end of the RJ45 cable to the WiFi Extender and the other end to RJ45 port of the Router, plug the WiFi Extender to a power socket near the Router. Launch a browser and connect to the Admin link page to add the Router. Enjoy! If need be plug another Repeater in the location where you need signal.

For Wireless connection: The same applies to wireless connection but this time no need for RJ45 cable. Your WiFi Extender must be in between the Router and the device you wish to connect to the Router. Then launch a browser and connect to the Admin link page to add your desired Router, Enjoy!
