Why can't airplanes be made out of the same stuff as airplane blackbox? I'd help reduced plane crash accidents and more importantly, saves lives.

very simple: the plane would be too heavy to get off the ground AND too expensive to build!!!!

planes are made of mostly Aluminium while blackboxes are made of THICK STEEL!

btw: blackboxes aint indestructible, that why they have 2 on board of each aircraft!
