The student community of Abraka, Delta State was this evening thrown into confusion following the grim discovery of a lady in a meal she was about to have. According to online reports, the young lady was given the pack of food (rice) presumably purchased, by her boyfriend which she went ahead to open and consume. She was said to have been distracted by a friend during this process, as she turned her attention away from the meal when she felt the cellophane bag in which the food was packed, move. Believing it to be mere vibrations around, she went ahead to peer into the pack and was shocked to see a huge live snake cradling comfortably on the surface of the cooked rice, which she immediately flung while screaming out loud. The alarm drew the attention of passersby, who wondered as to how the snake came about. All efforts to ascertain where the meal was purchased as well as the identity of the said boyfriend have so far proven abortive. More details to follow.
