The 2019 Port Harcourt International Trade Fair is been organized by the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture a foremost Marketing & Exhibitions Management Company as Consultants it also enjoys the support and co-operation of the State Government, the Chambers of Commerce in Nigeria and the general public and covers all aspect of business and economic activities in Nigeria.
The fair provides unique meeting points for Nigerian and foreign policy makers, industrialists, manufacturers, suppliers, buyers and uses of wide range of goods and services, as well as offer opportunities for investment and promotion. The Fair is open to domestics and foreign exhibitors.

Speaking to the press, the chairman of the Fair, Sir Mike Elechi explained that Not only has the Fair been visited by foreign businessmen seeking partnership with local manufacturers and distributors, but exhibitors has also be exposed to more than a wide range of visitors comprising mainly of key industry players as well as targeted customers across all industries involved in the planning, implementation, development, join-venture and execution, importers, Wholesalers, Agents, Traders Consumers, Business Executives, Government Officials, Diplomats, Political Leaders and general public.

Various seminars and workshops also form part of the 2019 Exhibition Events Diary, which has also attracted a large number of high quality visitors.

Giving the Team a tour of the Trade Fair, the president of the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture Chief Nabil Saleh introduced and allowed the exhibitors announce their products, he also thanked the State Government for their support and encouraged Rivers people to venture into businesses.

The publisher of Orange magazine “Loveth Ogedegbe” on behalf of the visiting press team thanked PHCCIMA and it’s executive for this rare opportunity and taking time to show them around.

The Fair area was divided into 7 professional exhibiting sections: Household Textiles and

Garments, Home Appliances and Electronics, Offices Supply/Sport articles and Furniture, Decoration and Gifts, Articles of daily use, Agricultural produce, Foodstuffs and SMEs.

The Port Harcourt International Trade Fair which is still ongoing, opened on the 6th of December and ends on the 22nd of December 2019. It holds at the Obi-Wali International Conference Centre, Port Harcourt
