Christmas is in the air! Everyone is celebrating in their own capacity. Players in Real Madrid’s first squad got an early Christmas present from their automaker sponsor Audi. Each player was gifted a brand-new Audi car of their choice.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and his team members were elated to receive various Audi car models of their choice. The German automaker presented a list of cars to the players. Captain of the club, Sergio Ramos, chose the most expensive model – the Lunar Blue Audi A8 50 TDI Quattro Tiptronic priced at £86,000 (~₦40.6 million).

Zinedine Zidane was modest in choosing the least expensive model – the RS 3 Sportback TFSI Quattro S Tronic priced at £65,000 (~₦30.7m). Thibaut Courtois and Karim Benzema followed the footsteps of their leader by choosing the same model.

Most of the players opted for the Q7 50 TDI. It was the choice of Luka Jovi, Ferland Mendy Brahim Diaz, Luka Modric, Mariano, Rodrygo, Casemiro, Gareth Bale, Eder Militao, Isco and Alphonse Areola.

The team members received their tear-rubber machines on Monday, December 16, 2019, along with their number plates.

Real Madrid is optimistic that the new wheels will spur the players towards victory in their games.
