Just a quick note to let you know I'll be on TV tonight
Saturday, May 26, on the INSP channel at the following
time:
8 PM EST/7 PM CST/6 PM MST/5 PM PST.

Those of you who read the April issue of the Advanced
Fiction Writing E-zine will recall that I spent the
month of March doing some research on the alleged
"family tomb of Jesus."

In that month, I became one of the world's leading
experts on the probability calculations of the tomb.
I was able to show that the tomb that was featured
in the Discovery Channel documentary is extremely
unlikely to be the family tomb of Jesus of Nazareth.

As a result of my calculations, my name came to the
attention of a lot of folks in the world of New
Testament Studies who had an interest in the tomb.

So when the INSP channel decided to do a TV special on
the tomb, I was the go-to guy for the math stuff.

What does this have to do with writing fiction?

Everything. As fiction writers, we have a
responsibility to build name recognition to help
promote our books.

One way to do that is by creating and promoting
articles on our web sites. A well-written and
well-promoted article can do wonders for a writer. (My
"Snowflake article" is averaging over 1000 page views
PER DAY this month and has made me famous among fiction
writers as "the Snowflake Guy."

Lately, I've been teaching on the subject of why and
how a writer should be creating super-performing online
articles, which I call "SuperArticles." (For details,

As the saying goes, "I eat my own dog food." I am
actively writing and promoting online articles related
to my fiction. I am currently working on a series of
novels about Jesus of Nazareth. So it made perfect
sense for me to spend all of March becoming an expert
in this alleged "Jesus family tomb" thing.

Some of you will be interested to watch tonight's
special, and some of you won't care beans about it. But
all of you should be interested in seeing what can be
done to promote fiction--using SuperArticles. Because
you can use the exact same techniques to promote your
own work.

Many of you read my blog every day, and so you know we
are currently discussing SuperArticles. We're using a
very hands-on approach--by taking examples from my blog
readers.

One of my blog participants is a forensic artist, who
is writing a novel about . . . a forensic artist who
stumbles onto the killing grounds of a serial killer.
Sounds cool, eh?
