3 people do not die in 6.5ft swimming pool at the same time, even if they can't swim, talkless of these ones who can. The pool pumps sucked them down. This heinous company by is trying to cover up their deaths. Even a passerby who went to help said he had extreme difficulty extricating himself from that part of the pool. The girls cap was even found in the pool pump system.

These people have public liability insurance to pay out for shït like this, but rather than close the pool and do a proper investigation, the eediots were quick to absolve themselves and reopened the pool within a few hours, potentially putting other lives at risk, just to protect their reputation.

You want oyinbo-man to admit there is something wrong with a part of his tourist business. That mean you want to scare their customers away. There is no way they will do that. At least not now. Maybe until when the victim has enough evidence and after the war of words and press statements have died down. Imagine you merely went on holiday with your family and you got this.

I remember a tragedy at Disney world in Florida that occurred in one of their ponds. An alligator came out of the water to grab a child to her death.

They were on a package holiday which in any case would be insured to compensate in such a case like this. They may also have a private travel insurance ( I cannot imagine anyone travelling internationally without one) probably covering death & cost of body repatriation. Any reasonable modern family man living in the West would also have life insurance for his family's sake. Though if covered in the unfortunate case of death abroad depends on type of life insurance.

Not everyone is unprepared to begin fighting for compensation anyhow.

Any detailed investigation needs to be done now that it has just happened. That way any possible fault that may caused it more likely to be found, fresh memories of witnesses and other salient stuff can be better harnessed now. A good legal representative familiar with local laws of Spain is imperative to be involved soonest. The widow has just dine that.

if not , the hotel might be right


but if they were the only ones then , it might be that the pool was discharging water making it possible to move them underground

I responded to the guy who thinks it's all about compensation by the widow hiring a lawyer. You can of course not operate such business in Europe without adequate insurance. It's even illegal.

Liability on the hotel's part can also lead to corporate manslaughter. Of course they would want to deny any liability.
