As we approach the end of the year, everything appears to be happening at a fast pace.

We need to remain safe to enjoy the year-end even as we step into a new decade starting in 2020.

As you commute from one part of the city to another or even interstate, you may like to take note of these safety measures.

1. Assume all other road users (particularly motorists) can't see you. Keep yourself at a safe distance as much as possible.

2. If you're to cross a busy road, use the pedestrian bridge.

2b If a bridge isn't available, be fully sure you can get to the other end of the road before the oncoming vehicle catches up with you. Don't take the first step if you're not 100% sure of this.

3. When standing at a bus-stop, keep a distance from the main road. Don't assume the vehicle driver can see you.

4. Don't join a rush to board a commercial bus.

5. Avoid motorcycles on major roads be it Opay, JPay or WPay. If you can, avoid motorcycles altogether.

This is the 5-Alive I have for you.

Stay safe.

Anani Sunday.

Hi! In order to enable the prisoner to communicate with his family, Jpay provides an opportunity for them to purchase a tablet with which they can do this. This tablet will have special applications installed that will allow you to make phone calls, send emails, and also access educational programs. This tablet can be purchased on their website, or contact jpay and they will help you place your order and also ship the tablet to the penitentiary.
