Kufman Power and Automation Training Centre will be organizing a ONE WEEK FREE TRAINING on:

* BASIC INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION INSTALLATION

OVERVIEW:
The course has been designed for candidates wanting a viable entry route into the industry. The course teaches the fundamental concepts of electrical and instrumentation installation. It will enable candidates to gain recognised qualifications and skills to enable them to enter an industrial environment and work as industrial technicians. The course is designed to be as practical as possible, enabling the candidate to gain the maximum amount of exposure to ‘real life’ equipment.

OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of the training course, the attendees are able to:

• Understand electrical power systems and machines
• Understand the main components of power systems
• Identify a wide range of electrical equipment & devices and understand their principles of operation / connections
• diagnose basic faults and recognize their associated symptoms
• work with a range of cable types and carry out correct terminations and connections
• Design, construction and operation of a DOL (direct on line) starter
• Control Valves disassembly and reassembly
• Instrument Calibration - Gauges, Control Valves, Transmitters, Pressure Switches, etc.
• ETC…

METHODOLOGY:
The 5-day training will consist of lectures, exercises and hands-on training. The training will be delivered through power point presentations, exercise and practical activities. Practical will be based on a hands-on approach. Participants will be given opportunities to work with a wide range of equipment that will support their knowledge in the field.
