As at December 31, 2019, WhatsApp stopped working for some more smartphones and operating systems. Check below to see if your phone or phone model is in the list. WhatsApp is a messaging platform owned by Facebook, and has already discontinued its support for some phones including Nokia and BlackBerry. WhatsApp officially ended their support for all Windows phones on December 31, 2019. Today is January 2, 2020. All users of windows operating system enabled phones will not be able to run WhatsApp nor chat with their friends and family members from today. Just like blackberry, Windows Phone Users will have to get themselves a new WhatsApp enabled phone if they want to continue using the instant messaging platform. WhatsApp previously announced they ended support for Windows phones in an official blog. The blog writes, “All Windows Phone operating systems after December 31, 2019" will no longer be able to run WhatsApp nor chat with family and friends".
