HRH IGWE ENGR TIMOTHY GBUGU CELEBRATES MAIDEN OFALA.

28th of December 2019, was such a remarkable day in the history of the people of Amankpunato as all roads leads to St Marks Anglican Church field in Isiokwe Village Achi in Oji River Local Government Area of Enugu last where the Eze Amanato 11 of Amankpunato kingdom HRH Engr Timothy Gbugu celebrated his first Ofala with pomp and pageantry.

In a message from a formost cabinet member of the first traditional ruler of Achi Ozo Pius
Ujah, HRH emergence and ascention was described as a testimony that he was not only born great but
destined to Achieve greatness and the elevation to this high office by the good people of Amankpunato has distinguished him as one of the
most peace loving citizens in Achi clan.

The celebrant in his opening remark thanked the mammoth crowd that came to witness the maiden edition of his ofala and enjoined the good people of Achi to partner with his administration to give priority to Education as this will give a lot of good future to the teeming youths.

Also certificates of recognition was presented to illustrious sons of Amankpunato who contributed to the socio economic development of the kingdom.

The occasion was graced by all classes of people who came from both within the country and outside. The high point of the occasion was during the presentation of gifts by various groups and individuals in appreciation of the great strides of his HRH And his Lolo in setting up a foundation that has lifted the youths of the community in educational advancement and what the Igwe and his cabinet has achieved within a period of his ascension to the throne.

In attendance are traditional rulers, Political heads, government functionaries, businessmen and women, Church leaders including youths were all in attendance.

Indeed, it was really an unforgettable event for the people of Amankpunato as the event was such a classic one and full of fun fare like never witnessed in the history of the kingdom. Thanks to the Igwe and the planning committee for a job well done.
