I play all my games on NORMAL difficulty. And at such, that should be the basis of this analysis. I have played god of war 1 and 2 on PS2 console, and also the 2 god of wars for PSP, but non came close to god of war Ascension on PS3 in terms of difficulty.
In most fights, I will simply conclude that I can't beat it. I would want to give up, but YouTube videos sometimes gives me inspiration to continue till I beat it, after like 40 attempts. I haven't played gow3 nor gow4.
In your own view, which god of war gave you the biggest headache ?

Gow Ascension is easy as f, beat it thrice on God difficulty, about to play Gow 3, Gow 2 is pretty hard

god of war 2, its so hard it damages control pads.

To me, god of war Ascension is the easiest of all, finished it in record time. I also found the graphics the least appealing.
