the last 2 alphabets are the codes. In 2011 when Jonathan introduced the new number plate, lagos started with AA, then AB, AC and so on till it gets to AZ. Then it proceeds to BA, BB, BC till it gets to BZ. The next in line becomes CA, then CB, CC till it also gets to CZ. Now i think its on GC presently and so you can easily fraction to know the year a car is likely to fall into when they have a lagos number since it started from A in 2011 and now at G in 2020. Its just logic and common sense
