The Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has express shock over the group the team was drawn for 2020 world cup Qualifier.

Nigeria has been grouped alongside with Cape Verde, Central African Republic and Liberia in Group C.
Qatar will be the host nation for the world cup, and will be welcoming the 32 teams for the tournament in 2020.

“We have three difficult opponents in Group C. A few years ago, Cape Verde had been Africa’s excellent Fifa ranked team, CAR have some suitable gamers in Europe,” he said, as per Super Eagles Twitter.

I think Rohr is trying to warn the NFF not to think that the easy draw means uhuru for the Super Eagles. His statement is not borne out of fear but for early preparations. Also this has always been his practice since he was made Nigeria's coach. He uses his statements to take the pressure off his team.
