What is the best speaker brand?

Sound equipment in Nigeria has grown to become a stable demand by buyers, owing to the rise of entertainment industries and churches in the country. There’re still major issues that keep rising in the minds of the buyers which is, “ What is the best speaker brand? Why is it the best?” Everyone goes into the business of selling sound equipment and musical instruments with the sole aim of making a profit at the expense of the buyers’ right of acquiring quality when they make a purchase of any sound equipment/ music instrument.

What brand comes in mind when you think of acquiring a loudspeaker, sound equipment, studio equipment, or a musical instrument? Do you just go to the market or search online for a random place to get your loudspeakers?

There are a handful of speaker brands from different countries with believe of superiority over another. All speakers offer the same basic purpose, but the core difference lies in production capacity, price, and durability. You could think of JBL, Peavey, Sound Prince as top speakers, but in disparities, one could pick a brand over the others and still feel the need to get more out it sound, which is owed to the brand’s production capacity.

Since 1932 Wharfedale pro U.K has been in the market, having gone through series of evolution to become one of Europe’s finest brand, and a mark of its footprint in the Nigeria and Africa market, Wharfedale pro brand is fast becoming a household name couple with its Bluetooth speakers, ceiling speakers, amplifiers series, mixers, microphones, line arrays, and ear pods, its uniqueness has given room to none in the competitive professional audio equipment market.

With custom made parts of all it’s Speakers (Which is a rare production method compared to other brands), Wharfedale is still super affordable which has made it gain prominence in the sound market all over the world

To know which is best, it is advisable to grasp a handful of knowledge on what speaker brand you decide to acquire, most sound engineers do not offer such service in the right manner as it could hinder their interest to personal gain, while most sellers with fake products would on purpose hide every information detailing a particular brand for their own gain too.

Before picking a brand, decide on what brand to pick, get the right source of information and store may be online or offline, make sure the seller is the right dealer, and it has to other extra services like aftersales service, installation, and warranty.

It all depends on the purpose of these speakers..... A home speaker would be different than studio speaker who also would be different from outdoor speaker or nightclub speakers.

Go for bang and Olufsen.

Apart from being overpriced (thanks to their design), you can easily find equally great home speakers (Bose for example) for Half the price of any B&O speaker. Just like Beat headphones being shitty headphones (sound wise) but with great design.

I agree with that. People buy those mostly to show off, you can get some decent speakers for less money. Personally, I like JBL and Dynaudio brands, though both are pricey, but work great with TVs, but I use those mostly to listen to music recordings, can be easily paired with music interfaces as mentioned on Simplydrum. So consider this as an option if you're a musician.

Micca ON3 or Rockville are the best as for me. I own Rockville BPA15 15″ Powered 800W DJ PA Speakers. There is an ability to connect via Bluetooth, something that isn’t as common for systems of its kind. As a result: good sound for live music, DJ’ing, and MP3s. I often check musirank to read about new models of powered speakers, maybe even to check reviews before buying.
