During the protest on the ban of Okada and Keke napep in Lagos State Nigeria, one of the riders was interviewed. According to him, an average Gokada rider earns about twenty thousand naira daily (N20k), which will amount to about N600k in a year. Recall that the ban took its fill course on the 1st of February, 2020 whereby security agencies have been on a lookout for anyone that violates the new policy set. What kind of fuckery maths is this, 20k daily, 600k annually, maybe the world annually means something else this days. Well 20k daily will amount to #7.3m yearly, and that's a fallacy. |

Okada business would die a natural death with the massive transport infrastructures being developed except if the okadas can evolve to match the trend I doubt any city in the next 50 years will have the patience to accommodate their excesses And I am saying this with Nigeria in mind.
