The planned [SAVE OUR EDUCATION RALLY] is for the emancipation of Ebonyi students from the shackles of the harsh and unbearable policies of the management of the school which the students have suffered for a long time now.

An institution without a working students union government should not exit in this democratic era, even in the military regimes students unionism thrives.

The students of Ebonyi State University have decided to take thier future back by struggle and will not relent no matter the opposition from management, state government and security agencies.

The students demands that there should be a working students union government, demands for proper account of our Wi-Fi charge, demands for election into all SUG, faculty and departmental levels, demands for round table discussion between management and students leadership before increments of school fee, demands account for GST maintenance fee and other welfare packages been paid for by the students.

It is very disheartening that the scheduled peaceful demonstration by the students were blocked by some group of paid youths known as AKUBARAOHA YOUTH ASSEMBLY and some other security agencies.

The students are calling the attention of the Governor and other well meaning Ebonyians to come to their aid because injury to one is injury to all. The students are embarking on a peaceful demonstration which is not against the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
