Madrid have the overall play but barca with the better goal threat. Barca overrunning Marcelo’s wing although Marcelo has made up with his attack if not for Vini who at this point i really don’t know what else to say cos he seems to be the only willing to run and create spaces but for his lack of precision which rubbishes his efforts even though Benzema and co might have been a little too late to arrive at the box at times. Barca with a little more thoughtful play might get the goal cos they have the quality upfront

I saw my first European football match in 1998 and el Clasico wasn't even a big deal in Nigeria at the time. Rather, the likes of Roma, Fiorentina, Juventus, the Milans and Madrid (all thanks to the Galaticos) were the only prominent non English teams at the time. Saying you saw your first classics in 1994 is too obvious a lie.
