Urgent Advice Needed On Domain Name Purchase by Nobody: 1:45pm On Feb 13, 2020
Hello,

Please I need some advice form pros on the issue of getting a good domain name.

You see, I already bought a .com domain name last week ($9) only to discover, by accident, that it does not really fit my plans so I need another domain name now.

i have done my research carefully this time and drilled down my niche to a micro niche. Interestingly, the exact match of the domain is available but kinda long (14 characters)

My question is, should I go for it as a blog name and domain or should i pick something else? Like an abbreviation?

Example with keywords
Blog Title: True little Star
URL: truelittlestar.com

Example Abrivation
Title: TLStar
URL: tlstar.com

I ask because I've read somewhere that Goggle may consider my blog spam for suing an exact match domain (a domain that matches my keyword exactly).

Please, expert advice me!

Exact keyword domain name doesn't help in ranking (SEO) any more. You can target your keyword with any domain name.

Thanks for your input sir. I would like to run with the longer domain name. I believe it will help me on in places like social media where people can read the url and know what my website is about without my having to say a word.

Keyword anchor they call it. I'm just a bit worried that goggle might penalize me for have the exact keyword in my url

No ,I don't think Google will penalize (like blacklisting) you for having exact keywords as your domain name. But if you say it doesn't matter in Google's ever changing ranking algorithm, then you might be right.
I will always suggest you go for the exact keywords as your domain name. Better still if you can pick an aged domain with those keywords, you will be better off (Traffic wise) than registering a fresh domain.
Don't forget that Google is not the only search engine.
