Buying a new phone means you buy a phone with iOS or Android operating system. In general, the iPhone is more expensive than most mobile phone brands. On the other hand, the Android system is characterized by an open-source operating system which means you can modify your phone's system to adapt to your using habit. Google Play also has a richer variety of applications to fill users’ various need. You can find your wanted detail information through classified folders which can't be realized in iOS. However, the Android system is easy to bring about malware, the leak of information and leftover files after deleting your app.

Privacy
Apple pays special attention to its users’ privacy. Apple has made it clear that tracking users is not allowed. It's difficult for software to get the phone number and some important number of the user's device on iOS.
By contrast, in the Android system, you will find your personal information is often abused. However, Google has gone a notch higher by noticing this phenomenon and taken actions. For example, Google added the privilege management system to help users manage personal privacy after Android 6.0. But there are still many ways for malware to access your private information, such as phone permission which could allow downloaded apps to read your imei, phone number, call log and other sensitive information. Through these information, the app can deliver ads precisely and you will be bothered by relevant ads everywhere.
Indeed, on privacy protection, Apple is not perfect. However, it's much better than many Android phones.

Battery
In terms of battery, Android devices – the iPhone’s biggest competition right now –have by-passed the iPhone.
