Students No Longer Hold The Government Accountable - Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amechi. by spearszed: 3:35am On Feb 16, 2020
The Minister for Transport, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amechi has decried that students no longer hold government officials accountable. Instead, they sing their praises to gain their favour.

He said this at his speech during the 8th Matriculation ceremony of Gregory University, Uturu. He recalled his days as an undergraduate when they actively pursued the interest of students without compromise.

He enjoined the matriculating scholars to work hard in their studies as success can only be achieved through hard work.

Also speaking at the event, Prof. Julius Okojie, the former Executive Secretary of National Universities Commission stated that private university is the future of University education in Nigeria. He commended the progress recorded by Gregory University since its inception in 2012.
