The benefits of a peaceful environment can not be over emphasized. If you have privacy, peace that can help you work without duress, then stay in such a place. Do not place emphasis on finance as financial spendings isn't worth your peace of mind

Not in Nigeria. He'll be broke middle of each month except there's a miracle.

Monthly House cost shouldn't be beyond 5k for him considering he's gon furnish the house, eat, transport, mom, siblings, girlfriend & save for emergency.

You missed it big time. When he's dead broke he won't have peace of mind even if he lives in a costly peaceful house.

If you factor in other inevitable expenses he'll be broke if he follows your recommendation.

You need to be very economical with your spendings, else, you won't have any thing saved at the end of it all.....

You should be focusing more on savings than a luxurious lifestyle.

1. Is your workplace behind/opposite your house or at most 5 times walk away?

2. Are you single or married?

3. Any possibility of increasing your income (career growth) where you work?

His transport fee to and fro is 250
Single
Yes there is possibility but now he depends on salary.

What amount will be okay for his house rent and he needs 1bedroom flat because he is planning to get married in two years time.

250 per day will make take another 5k off the 55k leaving you with just 35k. To be honest this money is small oo. We've not even factored in feeding, utilities, entertainment, etc

I'm a big fan of residing very close to your place of work but in this case it's gonna be tough. It's still the best anyway. But you can still search harder for a cheaper apartment within the axis.

I would advise you double your hustle and find legitimate ways of bringing in extra income. It's very important since you are working towards getting married. And please make sure your spouse is working too.
