OPERA ADS - O PLAY DIGITAL SER. LTD (ADVERTISING), so I was on my own when I got a call from these guys from Opera Ads Nigeria, that they can help me advertise my products and services online, I was first hesitant because this is something I could do myself and my assistant who normally did this was away on vacation. They called me more than 10 times, just to explain to me how good they were and how much they can impress me with their advertising.
Still hesitant I decided to go for their starter pack. I paid $100 on Friday, didn’t get respond till Monday. No problem, as It was a weekend. Also note that they promised me 250,000 clicks on my ads for $100, I first laughed about this, because I don’t understand how possible that is (probably bullshit).

Then they said I would be contacted Monday. I didn’t get any update until Wednesday, that they were designing images for me, 5 days later. They submitted very terrible images. I mean I had already submitted images and video for the ads I wanted to run, but they wasted time designing very terrible creatives for my brand. I then told them, use what I already gave you. Then Okay start my ads for me. They asked me for time that they will start, I didn’t get a response from them again.

Then next week seeing how unserious they were, I asked for a refund, that’s when they now remembered that they were working with me. I mean these people got my company name wrong, terrible creatives, terrible customer services, they said the information I submitted to them were incorrect I proved all these things wrong because I had screenshot of every message.

Now I want a refund, they said they had already paid Facebook for my advert and that it will start running immediately, I honestly don’t want to believe these people think I am stupid, Facebook charges you after running ads and not before. So they wanted to use this story to stop me from getting my money back. So now I wish to warn any person new or have heard calls from these guys to beware as they are unserious and unreliable when it comes to doing anything I still haven’t gotten my refund as they are still giving me stories. SO BEWARE OF OPERA ADS AS THE WAY THEY OPERATE AS SCAMMERS AND WILL LEAVE YOU HANGING WITH A BUNCH OF UNPROFESSIONALS

Mr poster, how would you feel if your so called business is lied against the same way you are heaping lies on Opera Ads?Do you think ladipo market knows whether one person fails to come to the market? Make your case with whoever who had dealings with and stop spreading lies intended on bringing down a company. No one is saying its a good experience you had , but take care not to be too quick in going online to say negative things against a brand because of a sad experience you had..be good.

I never use any of those services. I usually go to Facebook ads myself if I want to put my product on FB ads. Thanks for sharing this story. It's better to just ignore them. Do some research before trusting anyone over the phone. I personally usually look up the numbers on Google or some websites like http://whycall.me and then block those numbers.

Bros i have benefited from Opera ads, the thing is that, this people are meant to advertise your service just like AIT, CHANNELS TV, and so on, not to gv u sales, if your products or services are poor, it's not their fault, if your price is high, not their fault, they only guarantee you exposure, not sales.. @poster, i really dont no why your case is different bro, i have subscribed on the opera platform 3 times consecutively and i have had no regrets do far, i even got more than 250k clicks that they promised. the improvement in my business is very obvious. at a point i had to tell them to pause the advert because i was getting too much calls and i did not have enough stock to accommodate the demand. I would recommend the opera ads platform for any serious business owner they will surely give you the exposure that your business needs.

wait you are telling me If i paid for something after they approached me first and marketed themselves and made me pay for an ad. and after 2 weeks nothing and have reported them severally all of them have gone quiet and not responding. I should keep shut. something must be wrong with you

An advert for $300 will show b4 urs and it will only be on opera mini and opera news. Now ask urself how many people uses opera mini in Nigeria as their main browser or how many people use opera news? Even in opera,they make use of chrome to do their work. A company whose customers retention ratio is 30% is the opposite of honest

just tired of the situation. how i fell for telemarketers i don't know. really dont trust anything they tell me anymore.
