Flashing of phones is also known as debranding of the phone. Flashing a phone is all about 'DELETING THE CURRENT FIRMWARE & UPDATE IT' or 'ADDING NEW FIRMWARE TO THE FONE & OVERITE XISTING ONES'.

3) USB/ Data Cable:
Universal Serial Box cable is required to act as a linker between your PC and your Phone.
Linkers like BlueTooth, Infared can also be used but I am using USB.

Are u a phone repairer? My 3110c sometimes goes screen-white(blinks 3 times when switchd on, and it goes off again), I repaired it twice. Payin #2650 within one month(september)!. The engineer said it's not ordinary flashin but bout memory IC and online flashing. It happen twice last month again and I did it maself. I use to press all keys together to let the blinkin wait. My phone cannot upgrade again self.(contact ur service prov.)
