They look like Criminals, which they are

For those who don't know, SARS look this way to enable them blend in with criminals in the joints. They go undercover too. Sometimes, you need to assume the personality of a thief to catch a thief. They even go as far as helping plan a robbery with other members of the gang and end up bursting the armed robbers on game day.

Stop comparing SARS with SWAT. SWAT is simply a Rapid Response Team trained in Special weapons Handling and Tactics. They rarely go undercover.

Go check out the DEA agents and Army Special Operations Personnels; they wear tattoos, earrings and beards just to blend in.

The problem we have is that bad news spread faster, so the bad acts of a few end up overshadowing the gallantry and heroic deeds of the entire unit.

The Nigerian version of SWAT should be the ATS / CTU (Anti terrorist Squad / Counter Terrorism Unit) also called (Red Berets). Their training are more SWAT related than SARS.

AFTER WHAT EVER UNDER COVER OPERATION THEY'RE TASKED WITH, THEY SHOULD GO BACK TO DRESSING NORMALLY LIKE SECURITY AGENTS ARE MEANT TO AND NOT PATROLLING THE STREETS IN A CRIMINAL APPEARANCE. YOU CANNOT JUST AUTOMATICALLY BECOME AN ANIMAL COS YOU PRETENDED TO BE AN ANIMAL TO CATCH AN ANIMAL.

You obviously have no idea how undercover operations work.

Anyone who says these animals deliberately look like this for infiltration purposes is a slowpoke. Check out CCTV photos and videos of robbers in the last five years. Most either dress corporate, casual or even in decent native attire.

The ppl you see here are cultists and robbers who for got into the police to legitimize themselves. Nigerians are hypocritical cowards. They can burn down a whole state if a bible or Koran is desecrated but cannot stone these bastards to death on sighting them.

Keep waiting and praying for God to deliver your pathetic asses.

Don't be a fool, i have relations serving in the US army. The core problem i think operatives of SARS have is their idle time. That's the bane of their corruption. What they do with the free time they have before the next special ops.

Thanks for being honest. Most people think every policeman on mufti is SARS; thus making SARS the most hated unit among the populace.

There are a lot of highly effective combat operational units in the police that the public mistaken for SARS. Some of them are:

1. Anti-Cultism Unit
2. Anti-Kidnapping Unit (AKS)
3. Intelligence Response Team (IGP IRT)
4. IGP X-Squad
5. Anti Terrorism / Counter Terrorism Unit (ATS / CTU) (Red Berets)
6. Special Tactical Squad (STS)
7. Special Intelligence Bureau (SIB)
8. Federal Highway Patrol Unit
9. Police Mobile Force (Mopol) aka (Green Berets)
10. Special Protection Unit (SPU) (Blue Berets)
11. Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS)
12. Explosive Ordinance Unit (EOD) (Anti Bomb Squad)

Bros, you are wrong. SARS is the equivalent of SWAT. Your description is that of CID, we have state CID and federal CID just as we have for SARS.
SARS is meant for putting up resistance or attacking violent crime that involves use of armed weapons

in as much I don't like the way the sars guys harrase innocent people but without them criminals will have a field day,I don't think the German gsg squad will encounter the type of violent Daredevil arm robbers in Nigeria that sars deals with on a daily basis,I have been in a bank in umunze, anambra state when robbers came, they were armed with ak47s,light machine guns, hand grenades and rocket propelled bazookas, they robbed 3 banks in 2 hrs,it was a harrowing experience, the Nigerian police despatched a team to face the robbers but they wisely stopped few kilometers to the bank when they have information that the robbers have 4 RPGs stationed at strategic points to blast anything coming, even sars knows when they are deafeated ,the German police will never see that type of robbery attack in their country,Nigerian criminals are simply too bloodthirsty, violent and armed to the teeth with heavy assualt weapons,

Bros,

The movie 88 mins is not fictional. Policemen armed with shot guns and pistols took on dare devil robbers armed with AKs. That's dedication .

GS9 will end boko haram in less than week without presidential interference from aso rock. You can't compare people who willingly sacrifice their lives for their county with those who only join police to evade unemployment plus oppress innocent civilians to boost their lousy ego of being above others a.k.a I get levels pass you.

Use that organ upstairs more often.

what you have to understand is that most Hi-Tech weaponry fails in unconventional guerilla type war like what boko haram is staging, what do you think defeated Russia in Afghanistan or America in Vietnam, the German gsg cannot just March into the Sahel and surpress an insungency that has defied 4-5 countries armed forces for years, and moreover I don't think criminals in Germany or America Rob banks with anti tank rocket propelled grenades that will destroy armored main battle tanks and helicopters.moreover fighting Boko Haram is a twisted type of new unconventional war because you are also fighting a religious ideology,do you want to know what will happen if a mostly christain GSG9 German police is send to those jihadist.

Yeah that's true, the GSG 9 was created after the Munich massacre to tackle hostage situations, terrorism and d likes.
And most of these hostage takers are reasonable, willing to negotiate and not as brutal and violent as armed robbers in Nigeria
You have a point there
