Manchester United supporters are being slowly won over by striker Odion Ighalo after the Nigerian scored his third goals for the club in only his second start.

Ighalo’s arrival sparked a shockwave of surprise on social media on transfer deadline day when it was announced he’d be joining United on a six-month loan deal from Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua.

However, after scoring on his first start against Club Brugge in the Europa League last week, the 30-year-old was given the nod to start tonight’s FA Cup fifth-round tie against Wayne Rooney’s Derby County, and he scored in the second-half to make it 3-0 and seal passage to the quarter-finals:
