Christmas! What A Day by ishekinah1(m): 4:27pm On Dec 25, 2010
It was just like any other day but it marks the beginning of a new era.
On this day very few people knew the end of old testament is at hand.

Just three wise men knew a king was born.
How wrong they were to have thought the king was born in Herod’s palace.
Yet, they were wise enough to worship the king born in a manger, in the little town of Bethlehem of Judea.

The Pharisees and Sadducees were so confused to imagine their king a carpenter.
Little wonder He could not perform great miracles amidst them.
To them He is Jesus the son of Joseph the carpenter.
To Zaccheaus He is the son of David.

But what kind of furniture would you expect from the creator of the universe.
His furniture works were so marvelous that His mother decided to ask Him for wine in Cana.

When a king speaks He speaks with authority, so it is with my king.
At his word storms are calmed.
He said “GO” and a legion of demon left the Gadarean mad man.
Having toiled all night but caught nothing Peter’s net was filled with fish at His word.

All kings of the earth promises good economy but my king gives eternal life.
It was impossible for him to lack, so when He needed Cephas he got it from fish.

A man of purpose he did not allow himself be involved in the politicking of the people when they want to make him King.
Great are His miracles yet he would not turn stones to bread, nor jump from the pinnacle of the temple when tempted.
Humble enough to lay down his life even when he has the power to keep it.

So, Chrismas what a day to celebrate, the day the journey of our salvation began.
