STAYING ALIVE IS KEY:
HON. SURAJUDEEN OLATUNJI TIJANI ON COVID '19

The Honourable representing Ojo constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Surajudeen Olatunji Tijani in his recent interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) addresses the global issue of the pandemic Coronavirus (COVID '19).

The Honourable member who is popular called "Emir" said the world ravaging pandemic virus is a big test on humanity and how much irrelevant our skin colour can be when the world is not at peace.

During the interview, he said, "we are nobody without the next person sitting with us. There is no one who is not feeling the pressure of this global pandemic Coronavirus, football is now being put on break, schools are all being close down and the whole world is now almost at pause".

Honourable Emir went further to say the only resolve that is important right now is for everyone to stay obedient with prevention measure that is being announced globally. "Staying out of public functions, making use of every preventive information is now a prerequisite to enjoying good air and seeing the next day. We can only imagine there is a solution to this deadly virus as soon as possible when we are alive".

He finally appreciated the massive effort of the Lagos State government in taking quick response to check, and provide all necessary precautions and medical facilities to curb the outspread of this virus that has killed more than 10,000 people all over the world. He also reserved special praise for the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly for his pragmatic role in placing humanity first in the state by constantly supporting the Lagos State governor effort in fighting COVID 19.

May the world be safe again.
