With all that is going on in the world with the covid-19 virus, we must do all we can to stay healthy and virus free.
Apart from washing our hands from time to time, using hand sanitizers and medical face masks, let us also be aware to boost our immune system by taking fruits and vegetables.
Also, drinks that help boost our immune system should not be ignored.
Pineapple peel drink with black tea is an amazing drink that refreshes and boosts the immune system.
Doing some research, I found this drink to be very healthy.
Packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, these are exactly what our bodies need to fight off germs and free radicals.
The best part is, it is so simple to make, as good as it is.
Also, you get two for one by using your pineapple peels.

Ingredients

One big pineapple (washed thoroughly and peeled)
Black tea or green (one tea bag)
1ltr of water
Fresh ginger ( optional)

Method:

Put your pineapple peel and about a thumb size of fresh ginger (if you're using) into a clean pot, add about a litre of water, cover and bring to boil.
When it has boiled, lower the heat, add one black or green tea bag, cover and allow to brew and cool at the same time.
Strain into a jug and refrigerate. Serve chilled.
For someone with a fever, serve hot.
