Only 3 organizations to call upon? Can you imagine the mediocrity in a population of over 180 million

Instead of pouring millions of Naira to establish more science and technology innovation centers, we spend more on churches, mosques, electorals...

Anyways this is the country I find myself in, I will just try to survive and move to a developed nation or make it here.

Don't expect much from these institutions,since their inception what have they developed or produced?

Let me just be watching my CNN and BBC because that's where I get to see ppl behavior in the epicenter and rightfully replicate it.

If our dumb ašš FG is smart, we should be placed on lock down ASAP! I mean are we not seeing what's happening in NYC atm?

Many independent pharmacists ,have produced a lot of miraculous drugs in both Nigeria and Ghana,but the Ghana govt.gives more exposure to their own.Have you heard of Tabea mixture in Ghana? its even sold in London,it decimates malaria and typhoid.

People who studied sciences in Nigeria are culpable of looking down on those of us in the social sciences and humanities. However, I've not seen any breakthrough from them to earn my respect; I don't want to insult anybody this afternoon.

Other countries get researchers una dey form say una dey do research.

Knowing that shithole, the so called researchers ( who will be children, relatives and girlfriends of big men ) will gather as if they are busy, they will assign big pay checks for them and access to one laboratory where they will spend time gisting and little else. They will have lab coats and microscopes but nothing will be going on. If you look more closely you will see that none of the researchers have any research skills or can take a sample.

Say it as it is brother. They are all looking for job in shell. Even the so called doctors what do they contribite. Always asking for money.
I keep saying it even if you pay the average doctor $1m per hour they still wont do anything. A person who is dedicated to hos craft wont wait till they increase pay before he does his job

This sounds funny to me. Not like I mean to insult any body o, but I think it's better the FG disburse some of the money intended for this to buying Ventilators and hand sanitizers and PPE.

Then the balance should be saved carefully to import the Covid-19 virus vaccines when serious minded people eventually gets them ready.

While the Nigerian Institute of one thing one thing should kindly go back to its usually Hybernation. In fact they should all self isolote.


Most Nigerian researchers can measure up with their counterparts Globally, the problem is government lack of desire to provide them with the necessary Financial support, don't forget that research requires a lot of funding. Ask yourself why are Nigerians doing great exploits outside the shores of the country?

They are not ready yet. If they are ready to tackle the virus, they would have added MLSCN Scientists in the research team to develop testing kits and vaccine with the InVitro Diagnostics infrastructure at the disposal of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria in Yaba.

There are many Medical Scientists who are specialists in Medical Microbiology, Virology and Immunology. Now is the time to encourage them to deploy their laboratory and research skills but you keep playing politics with the lives of Nigerians.

Go to Noguchi Memorial Medical Research Laboratory in Legon, Ghana. Ghanian Medical Laboratory Scientists are already answering most of the research questions on the Covid-19 scourge with their superb laboratory and astute research skills.

Continue playing stupid politics with the lives of Nigerians. You guys hardly learn to do right, even when lives are at stake.

Nigeria can't find cure to anything? Can you ask why we still import Annoiting oil despite millions of churches in Nigeria and we still import pencil. Later you will hear how many billions that was budgeted for it and nothing to show for it.
