1. If you have been using android before, stick with that platform or iPhone will frustrate you
2. Samsung S10e is a good phone with great camera and battery. You will love it if you have been using Samsung
3. Google Pixel 3xl is the baba of them all. Great camera, solid battery and fluid phone. Quick updates and smoothness. I have been using a Pixel since the first one and I can't seem to love any other phone.
4. If you are coming from iPhone 6-8, the x will be a great upgrade. I use one in my office (xs max). But I still can't seem to cope with iPhone cause it slows my productivity... This I blame on my investment in the android ecosystem.

So there you are.... Your money will definitely get you one of those.

Really it all boils down to what you want in a phone.

Make a scale of preference and see what phone can deliver 90% of it

Build quality
Software updates (how frequent and fast)
Stock Google or skinned google
Camera
Battery
Future proofing (i.e ram,storage,amount of software updates it will get)

*forget about gimmicks, 99% of the time you won't use them.
