WE'RE GOING

We're herded, like thirsty buffalos
On thorny footways,
To a God-knows-where;
Into the very mouth of hell;
Or to islands,greener.

Providence solemnly ushers
A well-dressed mankind
To the seats of a vague morrow;
Or a promising dawn, may I say.

Here,a beast cometh.
A beast to whom all that crawleth
On the skin of earth
Becomes a minion;
A bully that spits onto faces
Of sovereigns;
Tramples commoners
Like a ten-feet dinosaur.

Whence cometh this strayed giant
Before who's might
Man's envied intelligence
Takes a solemn bow?;
Who's sworn to write
"Earth" off the histories?

Who's he that's altered
Resolutions overnight to
"End the year alive"?
What's his name;
He who forces us all -kings, drudges
To march reluctant steps
Into Oblivion; into a new beginning?
But all in all, humanity choruses
"We're going! Heaven knows
Where we're going"
