STAY AT HOME: REAL WARNING TO NIGERIAN LEADERS

The outbreak of the Corona Virus disease has further exposed the incompetent and insincere nature of the government of Nigeria not to develop the various sectors of our economy, mostly health.

Overtime, Nigerians have complained over the laissez-faire attitude of their leaders, mostly as it concerns looking inwards to develop the country.

With taxpayers money, at the slightest headache, they flew abroad with their families to get sound and quality medical care, leaving our health sector in a very sorry cum deplorable condition and this, nfortunately, It has become a norm for our political office holders who are saddled with the responsibility of giving the entire citizens quality health care. Because neither they nor their family members can ever patronize our hospitals at home,hence, they neither care about the welfare of health workers nor equip our hospitals.

When the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, there was a global instruction to 'STAY AT HOME' as a major way to avoid the spread of the dreaded Corona Virus and Nigeria was not an exception, as the enforcement is even becoming something else.

Today, Covid-19 has struck us and abroad is no longer safe and our 'abroad traveling leaders' are so afraid of leaving the shores of the country. Surprisingly, most of our Governors, under one week, furnished and equipped isolation centres, as it has now done on them that we must STAY AT HOME.
This global instruction of 'STAY AT HOME', is a clear warning to the leadership of this country to look inwards and rejuvenate the various sectors of our economy, mostly health.

Our leaders must see every position held as an opportunity to serve, not just humanity but God.
Today, abroad is no longer safe and the only hope is to stay safe is to STAY AT HOME.
Remember, no matter where you go or live, home is always the best.

NIGERIA MUST BE BETTER... THIS IS MY PRAYER.
