Few days ago, Nigerians took to their social media handles to call on Telecommunication companies, for the need to reduce data costs or even introduce freebies. The Federal government followed up by admonishing the service providers to cut down the call rate and data to support their subscribers in the face of lockdown, necessitated to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19).

Then, in response to that request, MTN Nigeria started by giving out 300 SMSs to its subscribers for communicating with their love ones. And now, Glo has also responded by introducing an ultra-affordable data bundle subscription - 1.25GB for N200. The data bundle is on available for usage on Sundays.
