Covid center in port Harcourt. Part of the contributions of the cacovid coalition including Dangote, otedola, adenuga, Jim Ovia, Jimi Agbaje, Adeleke etc. They were about 24 of them or so.

The plan is to build 6 of these across the country. Lagos, Portharcourt, Kano, Enugu , Sokoto, Maiduguri.

They are working on it. Lagos was built first because thr 1st case was there, it's a commercial hub and densely populated.

That of lagos was donated by GTBank, that of PH isnt being built by the FG either. Please get your facts right

Non of them are built by FG.
I'm talking of wealthy men of various extractions coming together to build isolation centres regardless of their tribe.
The one in Lagos is part of the cacovid initiative. Here is a list of donors of the cacovid initiative. 41 donations including GTB, and the amount contributed.
GTB insisted on setting up the centers and not just giving FG money, as it would be embezzled. These guys are monitoring these projects themselves otherwise it would enter one chance. Once built, they hand over to the governor of the state
Adenuga dropped 1billion to the Cacovid initiative and 500million to Lagos state, despite being from Ogun State.

May God bless the hand that provided these equipments.

This is what all those useless banks, except GTB, that steal from us and went and give the money to bigger thieves. undecided

Many of those banks too donated into the cacovid initiative, perhaps not as much as GTB and Zenith. Check the list I posted up there

I hope the original poster and all well meaning people can get this across to Sir Emeka Offor, we have series of judgements against one of his subsidiary company Global scan Limited, if he can go out to do all this, he should be concerned about the plight of his former employees who worked for him. Please bring his Attention to the letter written to him as pasted below:
6th April 2020

Sir Emeka Offor,
The Chairman
Chrome Group

Sir,

Demand for an Extension of Your Charitable Acts to cover your indebtedness to erstwhile employees of Global Scansystem Limited.

Sir, we received the news of your humanitarian donation of $30m Medical Equipment to Nigeria and 18 other African countries to the ease the effect of the dreaded Covid 19 pandemic.

While we commend your Laudable efforts, we have instructions of our Clients - employees of Global Scans Systems to make this demand.

As you are aware sir, Global Scans system limited is owing innocent Nigerians who worked for you various sums which is not over Five Hundred Million Naira. You will also recall that some of these staff obtained various judgment against your company in separate suits which altogether should not be up to Two Hundred Million Naira.

We are equally aware and have documents that the other two companies, SGS Limited and COTECNA, along whom the destination inspection contract was awarded had promptly settled their staff entitlements at the end of the conclusion of the contract.

We are also aware and there are documents showing that you have been paid for the contract and there is no reason for you to continue to owe and or detain your employee’s entitlement.

We acknowledge your show of concern and benevolence by the display of humanitarianism, we plead that these nice gestures be extended to the innocent Nigerians who toiled so hard to building your empire.
We have decided to bring this to your attention - perhaps you are unaware, that Six of your employees have died while awaiting the settlement of their entitlement, their agonizing death was made more painful as they died while awaiting payment.

We humbly demand that you extend your benevolence to your employees who aslo had to withdraw their children from schools as they could not afford to pay their school fees, and a lot others who could not take care of their families again.

We hereby demand for payment of our entitlements more particularly as ordered by the courts in the following suits;

1. NICN/LA/310/2016
2. NICN/LA/572/2016
3. NICN/LA/309/2016
4. No: NICN/LA/578/2015
5. No NICN/LA/576/2015
6. NICN/LA/137/2019
7. NICN/LA/572/2019

We hope and pray this payment shall be made timeously in other not to further prolong our suffering in these difficult times.

We thank you.

Yours Sincerely,
Ace Lawyer
For the parties in the above listed suit.

1.Covid19 is a blessing in disguise to Nigerians. Discuss in details how this plague contributed positively and negatively to Nigeria.
2. What is the economic implication of finance act 2019 towards this plague in Nigeria?
3. Different conspiracy theories had been circulating the media as regard this pandemic. What is the correlation between 5G and covid19?
4. Since the lockdown of many countries which sector of the economy had benefitted more?

Tell him to refund the hundreds of millions of dollars he was paid by the Abacha and Goodluck Jonathan regime to fix the Warri and Port Harcourt refineries. He should he hiding his face in shame.
Throughout my stay in Warri that refinery never worked and was rusty. Everyone on the community was disapointed.
