THE Federal Government on Mondays said that Nigerians with over N5, 000 in their bank account will not receive palliatives to cushion the effect of the lockdown as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The federal government also stated that the state governments will now be involved in the distribution of food items to individuals.

While briefing State House correspondents after a meeting behind closed doors with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Hajiya Sadiya Farouq stated that, it will be using the mobile networks, to know people that top-up credit units on their phones with maybe N100 or less.

What about Nigerians with more than one accounts. With one of the accounts having below N5000 and the others in millions. How will they be identified.
