Sunlight destroys virus quickly, new govt. tests find, but experts say pandemic could last through summer as preliminary results from government lab experiments show that the corona virus does not survive long in high temperatures and high humidity, and is quickly destroyed by sunlight, providing evidence from controlled tests of what scientists believed — to be true.

ARE WE LUCKY IN AFRICA ?

A briefing on the preliminary results, marked for official use only and obtained by Yahoo News, offers hope that summertime may offer conditions less hospitable for the virus, though experts caution it will by no means eliminate, or even necessarily decrease, new cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. The results, however, do add an important piece of knowledge that the White House’s science advisers have been seeking as they scramble to respond to the spreading pandemic.

The study found that the risk of “transmission from surfaces outdoors is lower during daylight” and under higher temperature and humidity conditions. “Sunlight destroys the virus quickly,” reads the briefing.

While that may provide some good news about the outlook for outdoor activities, the Department of Homeland Security briefing on the results cautions that enclosed areas with low humidity, such as airplane cabins, “may require additional care to minimize risk of transmission.”

In a statement to Yahoo News, the DHS declined to answer questions about the findings and strongly cautioned against drawing any conclusions based on unpublished data.

I believe in hard evidence.

Show me one or two person that has been healed staying under sunlight and I will give it a second thought.

Why?

One person might be accidental
Two or more person will be reasonable enough to certify the claim

This is a VERY important discovery by the British National Health Service research scientists, no less. Here again is the link to detailed article about this discovery that many have long suspected, given the extremely slow infection rate of Corona virus in West Africa, and the statistically low rate of mortality from virus illness, when viewed in the context of Nigeria's estimated 200 million population at last count.

To which the following reader's response appeared, and has been copied here below.

" The West African sub-region, currently enduring its annual pre-rainy season heat wave, has thus far witnessed a grand total of less than 100 Corona Virus deaths since the pandemic began, of which all but a handful had been resident outside Africa at the time of their infection by the virus.

Corina virus arrived in Nigeria THREE months ago, borne by an Italian man who made a swift and full recovery, after infecting NOBODY else, despite extensive contacts with locals. The absence of secondary Corona virus transmissions from that index patient, is indicative of a mutation by the virus on arrival in hot climates, producing a weakened variant of the contagion.

Not only is the transmission of Corina virus much slower in tropical West Africa than is the case in temperate climates, but the severity of the illness also appears to be significantly milder and more survivable in Africa, than is the case currently in the west, where early spring temperatures are still much lower than those south of the Sahara Desert in Africa.
