My son's 5 months old GSD died of parvo early this morning. His friend's Boerboel also died of parvo two weeks ago. We got two different vet doctors to treat his GSD, but the dog still died. He has been crying since morning and I can't watch him mourning for too long. Please do you know any breed that can survive parvo? I need to get him another dog(s) as soon as possible.

Because Parvo killed your dog, doesn't mean you cannot buy another GSD. I'm very sorry for your dog, this Parvo issue is getting serious in Nigeria ooh. Buy NSD, I've never heard of Parvo killing NSD.

This is bailey NSD, 5month old. I don't worry bcs u can't near my compound without her chasing u away. Give her fish head, meat bone, apu & egusi soup, akamu, kunu, malt & milk, infact any food I eat she is good to go. I don't worry about vet or drugs. Give her food & water, she will bark any stranger away. Its my choice.

Wow, you are really taking good care of your dog.

Get him a st Benard, nice large dog, good with kids, very obedient and easy to train, not very aggressive to bite grand ma or other family members that visit occasionally but won't let strangers in, also good with other animals like chickens etc. Infact a st Benard will protect your other pets and animals in the house.. Got one two years ago and I have fallen in love with the breed
