BREAKING: Fishermen Capture And Butcher A Basilosaurus In Bonny Island (PHOTOS) by LastNL: 1:14pm On Apr 25, 2020
BARELY two weeks after residents in Finima, Bonny Island and environs, Rivers state, were inundated with a swarm of dead croakers washed ashore from the banks of the Atlantic Ocean, the community has again welcomed a Basilosaurus on Friday.

As it were with the dead croakers which found their way into the pots of soups of fishermen and unsuspecting consumers who bought from markets in defiance of Rivers Government warning against it consumption, some residents on discovering the strange sea animal on Friday have been chopping off its tissues for consumption.

In early video footage on the fate of the stranded sea animal, residents feasting on it identified it as a “wild whale”, but the strange mammal identified as a Basilosaurus was seen wiggling parts of its body like a larger than life octopus.

Basilosaurus is extinct million of years ago. The picture is not well taken but I reckon that this is a calf humpback whale. Must we butcher and eat these precious sea creatures at the first glance. Why are some Nigerians like this?

70% of the earth is covered with water, lots of aquatic animals that can never go extinct, moreover it’s not like they get to eat something like this everyday so why can’t they eat it if they are hungry?

This thread is supposed to be in the agriculture section. I don't see why hunting/fishing topics are posted in the crime section.
Unless the OP posted it in the crime section because he/she knows that the pictures won't be attached directly in the thread
