A Volvo actually. But people think Volvo isn't a nice vehicle. Mechanic is not adequate sha.

I'm not quite following, do u need a million mechanics to fix one car? All you need is one, who knows what he's/she's doing.

If what you want is to find a good specialist on every street corner in the country then perhaps you redefine your needs... what you need is a healthy non-abused ride instead, not mechanics on every street corner. Good cars don't break down daily, or on every street corner

Also, when you're quick to say, "there's a toyota mechanic on every street", please remember to differentiate from kazeems, that's what you find on every street corner

Valarinz, I know you love Volvos but here, except minor issues like fuses and co, we need " special" mechanics to fix our car. Woe betides you if just any mechanic fixes your Volvo.

Truth be told, good Volvo mechanics are rare. My mechanic is in Apo and in some occasion, I invite him over (which may take days because of numerous jobs he is doing).

In Abuja, there are not more than 4 good Volvo mechanics, unlike other cars. Most people who don't know these good mechanics regret buying Volvo and that is why we buy clean XC90 for 400k.

Don't you think that figure is fair( 4 good mechanics), the number of Volvo cars in Abuja might also not be up to 100 units.

There's no Street in abuja where you won't find up to 100 Toyotas, not exaggerating here.

Also, note that those clean XC90 you bought for 700k was sold 1.4m-1.5m as toks, i see no great loss there.

Every brand needs special mechanics too, not just Volvo. Or you could just be patching and abusing your cars like majority of Nigerians and when it starts to overwhelm, they start looking for who to sell it to.

Doubt it? Start going for inspection on all those naija used Toyota cars with which has a billion mechanics everywhere and you'll probably donate your eyes for not wanting to see trash anymore
