Good evening nairalanders, i hope your day has been good? Today i want us to talk on ways we can fight this coronavirus...

This time last year, if anybody says by this time 2020, the world will be suffering from this world pandemic called covid19, i am sure we will all deny it.

Now, the coronavirus is here already, there is nothing we can do about it... What we can only do about it is finding a way by which we can maintain it and prevent it from spreading.

As we all know, there was a total lockdown for a month but still the virus still spreads, now that federal govt said people can now go to work as from monday, we should be expecting nothing less than 5000 new cases next week.


How we can fight coronavirus

1) The major way we can all fight this virus is by co-operating with each other, you heard me right.. What we need in nigeria is co-operation. When there is co-operation, that is when people will obey the laid down rules of fighting coronavirus as stated by WHO(world health organisation). If there is no co-operation, we are only deceiving us. In nigeria, only few people cooperate. Majority are illiterate and some dont even believe covid19 is real.

2) follow all the laid down rules and regulation, some of them are maintaining social distance, washing of hands with soap and water and using sanitizer, using of nose masks, avoid social gathering, stay at home, only go out if it is necessary.

If we do not cooperate and fight covid19, it could be disastrous, some of the dangers are

1) We are all going to die: This is true because when the number of case increases, Ncdc will not even be able to handle it again. The workload will be too much on them. Even our health sector will not be able to handle it again because, it may reach a stage whereby the isolation centre and they will have no Choice than to turn new people with coronavirus away. And when this starts happening, it will be dangerous... And we are all going to die...

2) The cases might increase like italy and usa, God forbid ooo but if such happens, we are doomed because even those country that are well developed are still struggling, how much more nigerians that we are just developed...


Please let us fight this together, that is the only way we can be safe!!!
