I drift through empty streets in the dark night,
my body moves but my mind wills it not.
I bask in the golden glow of the waxing crescent,
It's light purifying my burdened soul.

Moisture rolls down my cheeks; wet and cold. A shiver passes through me,
I shed these tears but what for?

A rush goes through my bones, short of breath I drop to my knees,
This roaring sensation, what could it be?

Has the orison in my heart been heard?
Could this be it? Could this be my redemption?

My lips moved in an alien motion; is this laughter? Is this joy?
Certainly this is it, certainly this is my redemption!
