Guinness Nigeria responded to his story, by offering to support bartenders and bar owners whose means of livelihood have been crushed during this difficult time.

An official statement by Guinness Nigeria, via Twitter reads, “We have decided to #RaiseTheBar. To show our support to our bar community during this difficult time, we will send a special care package to bartenders and bar owners. Send us their names using the hashtag #RaiseTheBar and we will handle the rest.”

Omo Gbaja Biamila’s unusual story highlights how the current worldwide pandemic has affected our day to day indulgences. Hotel owners and staff, bar owners, bartenders and road beverage stores can smile again due to the greatness of Guinness.
