Its really appalling to imagine the extent of lack of indigenous technology in the giANT of Africa,
I pray daily to God to provide this nation with a leader who will understand the importance of technology,
Our daily lives is determined by how technology and engineering is employed to solve our basic problems,
From switching-ON the electric bulb(if PHCN co-operates), driving to work(if u have a car),even our beloved internet.
We import EVERYTHING its crazy cant u see, my heart bleeds.
How many state or even the federal govt support Technological Expositions.
Instead our precious wealth is wasted on importing refined petroleum.
While in secondary school, J.E.T club was the in-thing.
Our development as a nation would largely be dependent on how much tech we can develop, use and export.
This is a call to all well-meaning 9jarians and the Govt at all levels, to do something about our educational system.
A very agressive step need be taken if we must begin to reduce the tech-gap btw us and the developed nations.
God Bless 9ja.
