His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, GCON has graciously approved the appointment of a popular businessman and grassroots mobiliser, Ahmad Nuhu Sani (Namado) as the Deputy Director, Northwest Region Of the Atiku Care Foundation.

This was made known in a statement signed by the Director General of the foundation, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas, made available on Wednesday May 6, 2020.

“Hon Sani has been exceptionally involved in our Foundation’s numerous Sports competitions where talents are sourced and harnessed for greater heights.

“In recognition of his charismatic performance in Youth Orientation and and Growth which aligns in tandem with the Atikulated principles and policies, we have elavated him to the position of Regional Deputy Director for the Northwest of the Atiku Care Foundation,” it informed.
Hon Sani hails from Dala Local Government Area of Kano State.
He attended the Goron Dutse Special Primary School, Government Secondary, Maikwatashi and then proceeded to the Kano State Polytechnic, with a qualification of the Higher National Diploma (HND) in Banking and Finance.

He is a staunch sports lover and functions as an athletics referee.

He is a well respected and influential merchandiser in Kano and beyond, having served as Chairman of the famous Kwari Market with distinguished achievements.

He was most recently appointed by the Kano State Government to head the Interim Management Committee for Kantin Kwari Market, in Kano city, for a term of three months to ensure effective control of the market, safety and cleanliness of the environment as well as collection of appropriate dues to government in a very transparent process and way.

It would be recalled that Namado in the build up to the 2015 general elections, doled out cash reportedly running into several millions to support the candidacy of then General Muhammadu Buhari for Nigeria’s President and Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje for Kano State Governor, both from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He has since shifted his loyalty to Nigeria’s former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate in the 2019 elections.

The man made some money in his previous government appointment, spent a lot of it during Buhari's campaign.
Unfortunately he was not appointed to any government job like Atiku.
He has been jobless since apart from a market agbero/ omonile/ area father temp job he got from Gandollar and was not retained after 3 months.
