Hello cars guru in the house , please what could be wrong with my lexus, I keep noticing the back going down. I ALWAYS HAVE TO PRESS THE AIR SUSPENSION BUTTON TO HIGH TO TAKE IT BACK UP. PLS ANY SUGGESTION OR A GOOD MECHANIC WITH EXPERIENCE ON THIS ISSUE WOULD BE APPRECIATED. |

lordlondo:the air suspension is bad. It's leaking. That's what they call the balloon. Scan it to rule out the air suspension compressor. But my bet is on the air spring (balloon) leaking. 1 Like |

Is there any whistling sound around the rear tyres? I'm suspecting the balloon. 2005 BMW x5 balloon is 25k (a pair, that's both legs) Share the price of yours after buying. Let's be practical here. 3 Likes |

lordlondo: It could be torn air line or leaky bag. Get it ramped and physically inspect it. Since the switch is still working, start saving for repairs or replacement. It might just suddenly fail on you. A picture exists on nairaland of a chap that changed his to springs. |

lordlondo: The air suspension may be leaking. If possible stop driving the car and get it checked out immediately as the pump might go bad from pumping incessantly to compensate for the air loss. |
