Following the increase number of cases in Nigeria, and non availability of government owned facilities. The Catholic Bishop’s Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) has donated a total of 435 hospitals and clinics to support the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.

The CBCN announced the donation during a meeting with the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), who is also the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force PTF on (COVID-19), Mr Boss Mustapha, in his office. The Catholic Church should be commended for this gesture.
