A jealous girlfriend took her 'burning love' for her boyfriend a step too far by allegedly setting his private parts on fire.
Witnesses claim Victoria Bynes doused her boyfriend in petrol before setting him ablaze with a lighter.


As Andrew Williams rolled around in agony trying to put out the flames, the 29- year-old calmly drove away from the scene.
When police arrived they found Williams with second and third degree burns to his genital area and stomach.
The grass where he had tried to put out the flames was scorched from the ferocity of the fire.
Friends said Bynes had suspected her boyfriend of nine years had been cheating on her.


After he failed to contact her for a week she stormed round to a house in Citra, Florida, where he was visiting. Neighbours told police they heard the couple arguing.
During the argument, Bynes claimed she picked up a plastic bottle containing petrol and was shaking it at him while flicking her lighter in the other hand.
She told officers the flammable liquid had accidentally splashed on his lap and she had dropped the lighter.
But witnesses said they saw Bynes deliberately throw petrol over her boyfriend and set him on fire.

She told investigators she drove away from the house as she did not think her boyfriend was badly injured.
When police arrived Williams was in so much pain he couldn't speak. He remains in a stable condition in hospital.
Bynes has been charged with aggravated assault and released on $10,000 bond.
The incident comes less than a month after another woman in Florida allegedly set her boyfriend's crotch on fire as he was sleeping.
Berlinda Dixon-Newbold was arrested last December in Fort Lauderdale on aggravated assault charges after an argument with boyfriend Sheldon Gonzales when she set his trousers on fire.


Gonzales was able to minimize the damage by putting the blaze out with his hands.
A 42-year-old woman was arrested for shooting her husband in the genitals with his handgun after they were heard arguing in their Kansas home.
The victim, 50, told told police he was showing the gun to his wife in their bedroom when she accidentally shot him. She is being held on suspicion of aggravated assault. The man's condition has not been released.
